One project I try to support every year is the Arizona Big Game Super raffle. Ten bucks, or fifty, your money goes directly to the species you buy tickets for, and it stays in Arizona. You can buy tickets online or print out a form you can mail in.

Who is sponsoring this raffle? The AZ Game & Fish Commission awarded 9 Special Tags collectively to four non-profit organizations for the purpose of conducting this raffle. These organizations are the AZ Antelope Foundation, AZ Deer Association, AZ Desert Bighorn Sheep Society and AZ Elk Society. Additional organizations have now joined as co-sponsors. Where does the money go? These Special Tags are designed to earn money for wildlife and wildlife management. All the money collected per species will be spent for that species by statute.
Does all the money stay in Arizona? Yes.
I don’t live in Arizona. Can I enter the drawing? Yes, non-residents may apply. This includes residents outside the United States.
If I have already taken a Sheep or Buffalo in Arizona, can I enter to win one of these in this raffle? Yes. The Special Raffle Tags are not governed by yearly or lifetime bag limits.
When is the Season? The Season Dates for all species in the Raffle begin on August 15, 2008 and end on August 14, 2009.
If I win a raffle tag, where can I hunt? You can hunt statewide, with some exceptions. Hunt units for each species are specified in Arizona Game & Fish Commission Order 29. Please refer to our Rules page for more specific information about Commission Order 29 and where you can hunt.
If I win a raffle tag, do I need to purchase a hunting license? No. You will not need to purchase an Arizona Hunting License. You will receive a license to hunt for the species you won.
