Time to put our noses to the grindstone
Well, now what? People like us are out buying up guns and ammo. The pundits are slicing and dicing McCain’s campaign, trying to figure it all out. The Obama-ites are giddy and chomping at the bit. I’ve been mulling some stuff around in my head…
First, no sulking, hating, whining, or wishing ill on the new president from me. We heard enough of that from the losing side in the last two elections. Only a fool would hope that the President fails. Quite the opposite – I hope he proves our fears were unfounded, and leads the country to great things and new prosperity. I have my doubts, but we’ll see.
Next, you will see the blog become more political. You may notice that I have added several links already to the side of the page which reflect, in part, my political leanings and ideals. This will not become a political blog, but political issues will certainly be discussed more frequently. I will, with more gusto, encourage folks to join groups like the NRA, SCI, AZSFW, etc. These groups are far better equipped than individuals to make our voices heard, but they need our help.
Soon, I will be posting a review of Ted Nugent’s new book. This book has been far more educational than I ever imagined. I will make it a point to keep learning when I am done reading. The Constitution is an amazing set of documents, and I think that is what we need to stick to.
My wife and I will probably volunteer for the next election.
I encourage each and every one of you to re-examine your beliefs, and the importance of electing people to office that reflect and respect those beliefs. Then act.
